United Physicians received its original NCQA certifications for Credentialing and Recredentialing on December 21, 2000 and for Utilization Management on June 11, 2001. NCQA surveys are rigorous evaluations conducted by a team of physicians and managed care experts. A national oversight committee of physicians analyze the team findings and determines certification based on the performance.

United Physicians is currently certified for Credentialing and Recredentialing and Utilization Management for the period of October 2012 through October 2014.
